For companies whose operations cannot stop
Secure infrastructure: high availability and SIEM with Wazuh
We help you keep your databases running if a server fails and bring your systems' logs together in a SIEM, so you know what is happening and can respond in time.
Free 30-minute consultation. We reply during business hours.
Pralogy is a cybersecurity firm that supports companies with two infrastructure projects: high-availability databases, so operations continue if a server fails, and the implementation of a SIEM (security information and event management system) with Wazuh, which collects and analyzes your systems' logs. We work with your IT team, which stays in charge of operations.
Does any of this sound familiar?
“If the database server goes down, our operations stop.”
“Our systems' logs are not in one place, and no one reviews them.”
“If something happens, it would be hard for us to piece together what occurred and when.”
“A client or our auditor is asking us for evidence of continuity and monitoring.”
Not sure what you need first? In the free 30-minute consultation we talk about your case and suggest where to start.

Two projects, with your IT team
High-availability databases
We design replication and failover with your team, implement them with a secure configuration and test them before handover.
SIEM with Wazuh
We implement Wazuh to collect the logs of your servers, computers and services, with alerts and dashboards. Your team operates it, and we teach them how.
Secure configuration from the start
Least-privilege access, encryption, backups and logging turned on.
Testing before handover
We simulate a server failure and check that alerts reach the right people.
Documentation and handover
The architecture, the procedures and a session so your team can operate and maintain the solution.
How we do it
Initial assessment
We review with your team which systems cannot stop and which logs exist today.
Design in writing
The architecture, the scope, the maintenance windows and what each team does.
Implementation
We configure everything with your team, at the agreed times, with your operations in mind.
Testing
We test failover and alerts, and we adjust whatever is needed.
Handover
Documentation and a session with your team, which stays in charge of operations.

Frequently asked questions
What is database high availability?
It means running the database on more than one server, with the data replicated, so that if one fails another keeps serving requests. That way, your operations do not depend on a single machine.
What is a SIEM, and why Wazuh?
A SIEM brings your systems' logs together in one place, analyzes them and generates alerts. Wazuh is an open-source platform with no license fees that your team can operate.
Do you operate the Wazuh SIEM for us?
In this service, we implement it with your team and teach them how to operate it. If you would rather have our team watch your systems' logs, see security monitoring (SOC).
Do high availability and a SIEM help with ISO 27001 or with client requirements?
Yes: they help you demonstrate continuity and event logging. ISO/IEC 27001:2022 includes controls for redundancy (8.14), logging (8.15) and monitoring (8.16). If you are preparing for certification, see how we support ISO 27001 certification.
How much does a secure infrastructure project cost?
It depends on the architecture, how many systems need to be connected and the scope. After the free 30-minute consultation, we send you a written proposal.
